OxfordSaudia establishes Articulation Agreement with Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University at Aviation Academy
May 19, 2020. Dammam, Saudi Arabia. , OxfordSaudia, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU)with Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University’s Worldwide Campus for graduates to receive credit hours toward a degree. OxfordSaudia is the only pilot school in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with an Embry-Riddle articulation agreement. OxfordSaudia students can articulate their certifications and training as Airline Transport Pilots (ATP), Airframe and Powerplant Licensed Technicians (A&P), Aviation Dispatchers, and Aviation Management toward the degree tracks available at Embry-Riddle's Worldwide Campus. "It was important to choose a university partner capable of catering to all present and future students of OxfordSaudia. We want only the best for our students in every area of the training program, and the choice of University Partner for OxfordSaudia had to match our philosophy for selection of our training partners, staffing, and equipment. We are uncompromising in giving students and instructors training from institutions with a long history of providing the highest level of quality education, professional development, and academic experience. Embry-Riddle exceeds those requirements," said Captain Larry Wade, chief executive officer, OxfordSaudia Flight Academy. “Embry-Riddle is excited about the recent partnership with OxfordSaudia. Through this partnership OxfordSaudia students who have successfully completed and received their A&P or ATP will now have a pathway to receive up to 36 hours toward a two-year or four-year degree program,” said Dr. Keith Wilson, interim chair of Worldwide’s College of Aeronautics undergraduate department. “This is absolutely a win for Embry-Riddle, OxfordSaudia, and most importantly OxfordSaudia students. We look forward to welcoming OxfordSaudia students into our degree programs as our partnership continues to grow.”
